WIOCC Group hosted the Women in Telco breakfast event with the theme “Overcoming barriers to gender transformation in ICT” on 28 September at Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff, South Africa. We were honoured to have our guest speaker Keneilwe Gwabeni, the Chief Information Officer of Assupol Group.
WIOCC South Africa was awarded a certificate by Madelè Dekker, Founder of MDCS Skills Academy for making a difference in young females in Information Technology and Communication during the Women in Telco and Tech Executive Roundtable, hosted by WIOCC Group in partnership with ITWeb on 28th September.
MDCS Skills Academy is an accredited Services Seta Training Provider enabling ICT learnerships and bursaries. WIOCC South Africa sponsors female learners and disabled learners at the MDCS Skills Academy programme and has also provided the Academy with a mobile ICT facility to take computer training to youth in remote areas.
