Obinna is a seasoned technology leader with a proven track record in driving digital transformation across Africa. As Head of Converged Digital Infrastructure for Africa at Open Access Data Centre, he is spearheading the development of critical digital infrastructure to support the region’s growing connectivity needs. 

With a deep understanding of network engineering, peering, and interconnection, Obinna has been instrumental in establishing and growing interconnection platforms. He has successfully facilitated numerous peering agreements, expanded the platform’s participant ecosystem, and developed a robust roadmap for future growth. 

Prior to his current role, Obinna held leadership positions at Cloud Exchange West Africa and Rack Centre, where he played a pivotal role in designing and delivering state-of-the-art data center infrastructure and network solutions. He has extensive experience in network design, implementation, and management, as well as a strong passion for fostering collaboration and innovation within the African tech community. 

Obinna is a dedicated advocate for digital inclusion and is committed to empowering individuals and businesses across the continent. He actively participates in industry conferences and events, sharing his insights and expertise to drive positive change.
